Monica Torres, Founder and CEO

Dr. Monica Torres is the founder and CEO of SocialQuest, Inc. a passionate spokesperson for the importance of understanding cultural dynamics in designing and implementing market research. Dr. Torres holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis on research methods from Boston University. She served as a post-doctoral fellow and instructor at Harvard Medical School where she focused her research and practice on ethnic minorities, children and cultural diversity. She has consulted for almost two decades, currently in the private sector but initially with the government and not-for-profits. While designing and implementing social marketing campaigns for reproductive health and substance abuse during her years in the public arena, she developed her theories of ethnic acculturation and multicultural lifestyle segments. Dr. Torres has since combined these theories with traditional clinical psychology practices to pioneer proprietary quantitative models and state-of-the-art marketing research methods that yield groundbreaking insights on the impact of cultural dynamics in the consumer market. Her successful approach is apparent in SocialQuest’s clients, both Fortune 500 and small corporations: Kroger, AT&T, AAA, Sonic, Ingles Sin Barreras, JP Morgan Chase, Telemundo and Western Union.

Nichole Becker, President Quantitative Research Practice
 
Nichole Becker has 20 years experience designing and implementing primary research to address a range of business issues from measuring satisfaction and loyalty, segmenting and sizing populations, creative testing, and brand & advertising tracking. In addition to SocialQuest she consults for online advertising giant Yahoo!, placing her on the cutting edge of the world’s latest advertising strategies. Nichole worked previously for research suppliers BizRate.Com and Hall & Partners USA managing global projects for Hewlett-Packard, Microsoft, IBM, Visa and American Express. She began her career conducting macroeconomic forecasting and risk assessment for the Federal government. Nichole holds an MBA with a Marketing emphasis from the UCLA Anderson School and a Bachelor’s in Economics from Occidental College.
 
Monica Clemente Vice-President Finance and Operations
 
Mrs. Clemente handles financial and operational matters for SocialQuest accounting, accounts payable/receivables and management of corporate affairs.  Mrs. Clemente has an excellent track record in successfully managing and operating corporations on a national and international level.  Prior to joining SocialQuest, Mrs. Clemente was the owner of her own clothing manufacturing business.  She later went on to own an international import/export corporation and currently is the CEO of Quality Turning.  Mrs. Clemente is a native of Chile and has lived in the United States for over 25 years. 
 
Gary Bentz, Creative Director
 
Gary is an award-winning creative director and sales promotion professional with over 18 years experience in the multicultural marketing arena. His clients include Miller Brewing Co. (“Miller Time”), PepsiCo, Chevrolet (“American Revolution”), Verizon Wireless (“Can you hear me now?”), America Online, Nextel, Gatorade and Church’s Chicken. Gary has extensive experience creating Hispanic targeted and Spanish-language advertising. He holds the distinction of having his Hispanic targeted television ads air during general market programs such as the NFL Superbowl (Miller Lite), Major League Baseball (Chevrolet) and the MTV Music Awards (Pontiac). In addition to SocialQuest, Gary consults for multicultural creative agency XL Edge. Gary was raised in Puerto Rico and holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Utah.
 
Sacha Milito, Creative Designer
 
With a Fine Arts Degree in her back pocket, Sacha began her graphic design training in the Film industry within the art departments of movie productions of major studios such as CastleRock and Warner Brothers. Sacha went on to flex her marketing communications muscle in the corporate world designing for various high-tech start-ups.  As well as Fortune 500 companies such as Intel and Amgen.  As creative lead for an in-house team of designers and writers, Sacha has had first-hand experience in branding and launching new businesses. Well-versed in print, collateral, packaging, web, corporate presentations, and advertising, Sacha joined SocialQuest and continues to hone her creative skills in her work every day for our clients. Sacha’s versatility has allowed her to create graphics for TV commercials, develop a consumer campaign for the largest pharmaceutical company in the country, and even art-direct a small independent film.
 
Vik Rubenfeld, Research Design & Statistical Analysis
 
Vik is an expert statistician with over 20 years experience in market research. His experience includes quantitative and qualitative research for Mattel, Computax, Hall & Partners USA, Lieberman Research Worldwide, Pajamas Media, Anchor Blue, Dos Equis and Hewlett Packard. He worked previously as Associate Research Director for Saatchi & Saatchi managing research for Bushnell, Fujitsu, General Medical Centers, Nissin Foods and Pioneer Electronics. His expertise incorporates creative copy testing, brand/awareness/attitude tracking, new product development, product positioning, pricing analysis, purchase process analysis, and customer satisfaction.
